Reading Adam Smith
2025-09-01
Finally got around to reading Adam Smith. Reading both "The Theory of Moral Sentiments" and "The Wealth of Nations". Both are works that Smith updated through his life. Both are dense works, and will take time to read. Smith is very much of the Age of Enlightenment.
Though he wrote 250 years ago, and his examples are of that period, his observations and deductions aged well. I find Smith's work to be well-reasoned, needing only elaboration for what we can learn from the history since.
Tagging interesting bits to write up later. :)
